"After many years of anonymity on Canadian roads, it appears the Hyundai Sonata is determined to be noticed," says editor-in-chief, Greg Wilson. Its new four-cylinder engine offers class-leading power and better fuel economy, but the V6 is gone, he reports.

Hyundai sold its Entourage minivan in Canada for only three model years before discontinuing it. Though roomy, well-equipped and powerful, the Entourage had a number of reliability issues that buyers should be aware of.

The V8-powered Hyundai Genesis sedan has a lot to offer for under $50,000 and should be making luxury automakers nervous, says interior reviewer Michael Clark. The only things missing are heated rear seats and transmission paddle shifters, he says.

The 2005-2009 Hyundai Tucson was a "nicely-built vehicle for its price," says Contributing Editor Chris Chase, who recommends them as used vehicles "without reservation." Minor problems when they were new should be easily avoided with maintenance, he says.
