New auto research centre to open in Ontario
A new automobile parts research facility will open in Concord, Ontario, as a partnership between Magna Exteriors and Interiors, a division of Magna International, and the National Research Council Canada (NRC). The facility will develop composite technology for the Canadian and global automotive industry.
J.D. Power expects improved December sales
Final U.S. new vehicle retail sales figures are expected to increase substantially in December 2009, when compared with one year ago, according to J.D. Power and Associates, which said it indicates “the continuation of the industry’s recovery.”
Ontario’s GO Transit is free on New Year’s Eve
GO Transit train and bus rides in Ontario’s Greater Toronto Area will be free on New Year’s Eve, starting from 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 31 until service ends for the evening.
